FCS says customs data exchange slowed on 31 October, problem resolved
Data exchange with customs slowed between 15:40 and 18:40. The service did not name the causes.
Russia’s Federal Customs Service (FCS), the country’s customs authority, says its information systems are now operating normally. The service published the statement on its channel as a notice addressed to importers and exporters.
The statement followed complaints from several electronic filing operators, the intermediaries through which importers and exporters send their documents to customs. The operators reported repeated slowdowns in data exchange.
The FCS checked its systems and confirmed one slowdown, on 31 October 2026, from 15:40 to 18:40. The service did not say whether the slowdowns the operators reported at other times also took place. According to the FCS, “all causes of the slowdown in information exchange have been eliminated”. The service did not say what those causes were.
The statement does not mention any new disruptions after 31 October.
