Belarusian imports exempt from SPOT security deposit until 30 June 2027
The exemption has been extended. Until that date, companies do not pay the security deposit and keep the money in circulation.
According to alta.ru, the exemption from paying a security deposit under SPOT for goods imported from Belarus has been extended until 30 June 2027. Alta-Soft, a Russian customs software developer, published the news in its legislation news section.
SPOT is a mechanism for monitoring shipments of goods from Belarus. Normally, companies pay a security deposit under this mechanism. While the money is held as security, a company cannot use it in its business.
The extension covers goods imported from Belarus. Importers can plan their working capital without this deposit until the new deadline.
Alta.ru does not say which document extended the deadline.
